IBM has announced its new Infoprint 4100 printer which boasts the title of the worlds fastest laser ink printer. Making 330 pages a minute the device retails for 500,000 dollars, ($1,000,000 for the top of the line model). I find it to be insanely priced, but its designed for the corporate professionals nonetheless. They can shell out the big bucks for it. This latest machine is another ploy for IBM to push its market share in business publishing. And considering that its market share is 49.6% they must be moving in the right direction. One quickie, internet scamming sites that fake their cause for donations to katrina relief have been popping up all over, currently the FBI estimates 2,000 such sites.
